Paris, Olympia: Saturday, November 30, 1957. A concert realized with little publicity, but sold out considered one of the most beautiful jazz concerts. The star: Miles Davis, arrived from America and from America and supported by Kenny Clarke, René Urtreger, Pierre Michelot, Barney Wilen. The group assembled that evening by Miles Davis was the one that would record the soundtrack of the film by Louis Malle “Ascenseur pour l’échafaud” a few days later, on the night between December 4 and 5, 1957.
